I've worked with several Chinese engineers, who are quietly critical of the CCP. Since they still have family in China they know better than to be openly critical of China.
it will look like a parabola (or ellipsis if you read elsewhere in this thread) if you add another dimension to your graph of the balls position.
That could be a physical dimension, such as throwing a ball to your friend across the room and plotting x vs y. Or even plotting the height of the ball against time.
Slightly off topic, but since there are linguists here I thought I'd ask. Does the word winningest seem wrong to other people? It's such a foreign word to me that feels absolutely wrong. I only really hear it when watching US sports.
I'm from Australia, where we follow en-GB relatively closely for perspective.
the repo top bar is wider than the rest of the content. It feels unbalanced. Personally I'm not a fan of that part. No complaints about any other change.
automated cars would obviously eventually become faster than F1 drivers, it's just there's no interest in it (unfortunately).
The biggest interest to most people are the drivers and they strongly dislike driver aids. I'd prefer every driver aid under the sun and have a real engineering battle. I'm obviously in the minority here.
Formula E is under very tight budget constraints in order to lower the barrier to entry. I look forward to the day when the series is established and they can start to compete on things like motor construction and battery tech to drive the field forwards.
