You can update Win 10 to Win 11 IoT version for unsupported devices, by using something like massgrave

money that is stolen from the public at a certain point is really damaging, especially when people think they can get away with it.

some non-violent offenders definitely need to be put into the same prison as violent ones

i don't like normalizing people hoarding things they don't need in order to sell them for way higher prices to other people that do, do you?

the most fair distribution for limited sought-after resources that are inconsequential (like domain names) are raffles. let people apply in a 4-week window and then randomly assign it to one of the applicants.

then don't allow reselling, just allow giving it back and do a raffle again

MacBooks have the best value/money ratio at the moment. The combination of battery life, processing power and touch pad UX are unmatched

Many many countries got sanctioned into oblivion or color-revolutionized into US-loyalty for far far less (often just for not being aligned with the US).

It is even more sickening and outrageous if you view it through that lens.

At this point I think that would be a more sane outcome than whatever it is we have right now.

The future will be AI agents social engineering their way into projects -> so basically commoditized social engineering as a service

For me personally I found Zigs AI stance and the artisanal mindset very attractive.

So much so that I am at the moment doing the ziglings exercises and learning it over Rust (which I gave up on some time in the past, because it didn't spark "joy" for me; so far Zig does).

Sure, for now it is just a hobby programming lang to me, but it might become more than that.

I think this is a very sane stack.

Will probably become a hassle when going planet-scale (tm), but I think for most use cases this should be fine.

yeah it's great if you want to be dependent on US and German political interests

Google also chooses to be a US company even thought the US is supporting a genocide and is doing an illegal war against a foreign country (again)

You could argue Signal is the most "moral" here, but even then they don't really allow self-hosted backends and refuse to open-source their setup
