This is exactly my experience. I love my AVP, travel a lot, it’s awesome on the road and I enjoy using it at home as well. The last time I was this excited by a computer was the NeXT. No other device has fostered feelings of awe as the AVP.
+1 for Readwise. I moved to their Reader app from Pocket long ago and never looked back. The app goes from strength to strength and the Readwise team also does a great job engaging with users.
Agreed. The AVP works so well as an external monitor. I use it a lot while traveling but I’ve found myself preferring it even at home.
Comfort during long sessions can be a challenge. While I’m fine with Apple’s dual strap, my current setup is an Anapro forehead strap and no light shield. It does leave an unsightly mark on your forehead but I find it very comfortable and I like letting my face breathe.
