Copilot could absolutely solve the task given the instructions as a comment that's stated above. Unfortunately the gap between AI's capabilities and a task humans can solve quickly is super thin. You also have to constantly evade advancements in computer vision for the current type of captchas, such as FunCaptcha implementing swirls and animals in certain rotations.

Hasn't Facebook's Pluribus come pretty close to "solving" no-limit holdem? I don't know a lot about poker so I can't really assess their claim's validity.

I believe this is a feature on the mobile app.

This is just nonsensical. Are you familiar with the famous bet made by Buffett that a basket of hedge funds would be outperformed by the market over 10 years? He was right, they were outperformed, so how does it follow that a basket of hedge funds with massive budgets cannot consistently make money trading - but the average person somehow can? Are they intentionally handicapping themselves to "trick" everyone?

Trading is gambling for almost everyone. The remaining actors benefit from additional information that is either entirely cost inhibitive or illegal.

You’re only talking about one side of the equation. Buying options can never end in a loss that exceeds the original investment.

Pretty much none of crypto trading can ever be skill-based depending on the time frame. Even in the medium term it’s a random walk.

What percentage of total cumulative cryptocurrency volume is exchanged using PoW rather than PoS?

The PoW market share is and historically has been pretty massive so I don't think it's hugely disingenuous or through a complete lack of understanding that the two are conflated.

Which lose to the M1 handily on the battery and price aspects.

Completely agree – search is absurdly poor considering the resources available to any solo developer these days. The mobile app is generally usable, if all you want to do is doomscroll without interacting with a single piece of content. Even normal interface interactions induce ridiculous UI delays that I haven't seen in any level of software product for years.

What you're saying really makes very little sense to me. The strategies change constantly and are arb'ed away. Every year they essentially do start from scratch, aiming to beat the market which they do massively. But they aren't starting from scratch because they're still using their statistical arbitrages and tools? That is the very method and "knowing what they're doing" that you're saying doesn't exist.

There are thousands of different graphs that correlate with that one. I don’t think I need to give the whole “correlation ≠ causation” line again.

I think I understand your point and agree with the hype aspect, but statistically how can they be statistical outliers? On a broad annual basis they’ve beat everyone 10+ times in a row or whatever the number is. That’s far more than statistically significant. How can 1 fund beat 10,000s 10 times in a row and be just an “outlier” with no rhyme or reason to their performance? Please correct me if I’m misunderstanding.

Just because you can make steering, braking, and acceleration changes to the car does not mean you are “in control”. The software makes such aggressive decisions that it can become impossible to react, causing massive additional danger to others, such as was the case in the recent crash.

Agreed, imagine paying thousands of dollars for a software product that is never delivered and continues to be pushed forward to the next year for five years running - it's unbelievable a solid case hasn't been brought against the company. Only a performer like Musk with such an influence on his fans could pull something like that off.

You may be aware of twitter.com/Bitfinexed; they've compiled an overwhelming amount of evidence for Tether's manipulative behaviour.

What makes it "literally impossible" for those coins to move? I think it is incredibly unlikely but don't see why it is impossible.

The dot-com bubble lasted around 10 years, increasing almost exponentially in the last 2-3. Subsequently dropped 80% and took 15 years to return to those prices.

I see no reason why not considering the core CPU component of the SOCs are very similar.

Struggling to see why this should be taken in any way seriously considering the clear conflict of interest?
