You forgot to mention that the left is mostly funded by anti-gun interests. That is where the majority of gun control legislation comes from. If money from Bloomberg or Soros helps you win, you push gun control in return.
I also think trying to pin the 'culture war' on gun companies is bizarre. Are you from the US? Your take on this seems like something you would see on MSNBC.
there are more options for shotgun shells than for bullets.
For bullets you can basically do pure copper. I think anything else falls into a 'armor piercing' category that is banned. I'm not 100% clear on the laws there but I know that is why most bullets are still lead core (in addition to cost factors).
lead ammo bans are a way to ban guns without banning guns themselves, similar to 'microstamping' and other odd proposals. Basically mandate something that makes it so costly that no one can do it
what is the proposed improvement in this case though?
There is something weird about this article. It feels like a paid for hit piece from the anti-gun crowd rather than an organic article about lead issues.
there is absolutely money involved. The amount of people that has to get these certs is absolutely massive. There is a lot of money to be made in selling dumps
anyone doing consulting is pretty much required to do certs. If you want to be a Amazon/Google/Microsoft partner you have to have a pretty high number of certified employees, and you need to be a partner to get most of the work in the field.
cheating is definitely rampant. I find that when trying to find study material for exams, half the search results are exam dumps
"The researchers proposed a tweak so that hate speech against Black, Jewish, LGBTQ, Muslim, and multiracial people would be taken down through an automated system."
Hmm I just read another article on this which said the proposed tweak was actually to STOP automatically blocking hate speech against white people.
I guess in light of that you can see how the quote is factually correct but worded in such a way to completely misrepresent the nature of the proposal
