I remember seeing ads in Infoworld for a product called SQL*Calc.
As far as I know it was fully vaporware, Oracle never even did anything past a photoshop (or more likely ms-paint) advertisement for it, but somebody on usenet may have used it:
Now that is something great! I wish more of this kind of stuff existed. Instead of coding I'm writing comments here. I need to get back to writing great code too!
