> Most countries will grant PR without requiring a language
This statement is clearly false, off the top of my head only USA and Spain come to mind. There are some countries like Japan where there it isn't a hard requirement, but you'd need a very good reason to justify why
But there is at least some argument that smartphones nowadays have some pretty crazy waterproofness that I'm not sure is physically possible with a replaceable battery?
If you want a cheaper alternative, maybe look into ServaRica. That's where I run my Immich instance for my wife and me. 4TB for $11 per month. The servers (cpus) are not super fast, but fast enough for me.
> The finding surprised the doctors since tapeworms aren’t endemic to Spain and he said he hadn’t traveled. However, the man may have been exposed during his work. Until 10-years prior, when he retired, he had worked in construction, often working alongside people who had migrated from regions where pork tapeworms (Taenia solium) are endemic. The parasitic worms can spread through the fecal-oral route. His doctors speculated his infection might have been a rare case of cryptic transmission from sharing meals and bathrooms with his coworkers, one of whom apparently had a tapeworm infection.
I mean partial derivatives aren't that complicated if you know normal derivatives, which most people do. And backpropagation isn't too difficult either.
The value of PyTorch lies more in utilizing accelerators like GPUs while offering a nice abstraction. But you can build your own (inefficient) tensor library without too much effort as e.g. Andrej Karpathy has shown in his "NN zero to hero" youtube series.
Interesting. I have the Google AI Pro plan and use Gemini several times each day and I don't remember the last time I got a refusal. I wonder what criteria go into that, like maybe how they rate your Google account?
It's not like they could easily cash out all of those $60B. I always find it troublesome that we generally conflate cash with stonks, market caps, and such.
As a German, it sounds like you integrated well.
