Just curious. Where/who is the proposed domain hoster? Any technical data could also be useful. I see the point in doing the creation as simple as possible, i would like at least to know, bevore i register anything, who i am going to pay and what i pay for. Maby i just overlook it..
well, for a storry, covered in times, buzzfeed, cnn, herald, huffingtonpost, vox.. countles other, and even on the christianpost, i guess its not that surprising.
At my place, all the non-technical people rush out and buy new overpriced computer with win7. Only one of my neighbors decided to let me show him linux. The lokal store dont care, they are very happy to sell some old intel i3 prozessor, Onboard-graphics, and windows 7 for €800+
I have just tried this with new email and linkedin account with the intention to see my own linkedin mail. At least it does not work with the last firefox and linux mint here

The Gameplay Mixing Board was used for the ingame music in the last one. Is this a free musik then, or did you just asked the autor to use it?
some years ago i worked for 1 & 1, and when I think back to their customers, i can imagine that it would work. And I see the reason also because they were one of the first to have offered in Germany emails that were in vain financed by massive advertising, and AdBlock is certainly no fun for them.

Like 2 years back, i was trying to manage the montly ISP calculations for my parents, and i had to talk to the customer service to get the data. Talking on the phone, i got a customer-Nr and a PW and log in to the account. Just a sec. later i realiced there was something wrong.. the account i just got the credentials to wasnt from my parents. Mistakes happens all the time, and i guess not only at my ISP.
you guys all knew about the surveillance sinse the eary 90´s, and i dont mean all the non tech guys, i mean you.It was all about the foreigners, so you dont care. Echelon was all about the non-american, so nobody cares at all. My sympathy now for you is so close to zero, like same sympathy you have shown in the past
