Most “free” OCR tools limit usage or store uploaded data. DeepOCR doesn’t. It’s free forever, has no quotas, and deletes uploads right after processing.
Under the hood:
Multiple recognition models optimized for printed, handwritten, and mixed text
Preprocessing pipeline to improve noisy image quality
Lightweight architecture for quick responses (usually under a few seconds)
It’s not meant to compete with commercial APIs — just a solid, privacy-first OCR that anyone can use for daily tasks. Feedback welcome.
