Is Okta supported for auth, and how does bring your own cloud work? Can you limit it to only being able to deploy certain things, within a particular VPC?

I expect the majority of people really aren't bothered about this though - just a vocal minority, so although maybe a bad ad for some, I expect the benefits of the publicity of this ad far outweight the downsides.

I wouldn't have paid any attention to a new iPad launch or known that it was the thinnest one yet, without this 'bad' press.

If anything, I'd say I'd be more likely to purchase a new iPad as a result

It's not _terrible_, but could definitely be improved.

I'm fairly content with my current situation. My phone has 'WARP' charge, which fully charges it in less than half an hour, however it can also charge (at a slower rate):

* Earphones

* Shaver

* Handheld Fan

* MacBook

I rarely connect my devices to a display, but that is supported with my cable too. The only device I use semi-regularly that isn't USB C is my Bose QC35s, but they last ~20hrs so usually last a few weeks due to my low usage.

On the other hand, my Mac charger can charge my phone (and obviously Mac) but none of the other devices...

Yeah, pointed it to the crx, set it to force install and nothing happens.

If I install the crx locally it works fine. No way of seeing any logs to troubleshoot, pinged a message to our reseller but that method is looking like a dead end.

For testing sure, but this needs to go to just over 1000 people.

The only example I can find online on deploying via URL is this:

https://support.securly.com/hc/en-us/articles/360036540753-H...

Can't see many official docs on it at all.

Now I've gone the Developer route I can see you can create internal apps without having to get them approved so think that's my best option now.

On a positive note, I signed up to get a Chrome Developer account today - made a submission and it was approved within an hour.

Read it could take a month plus be delayed due to COVID-19. I was pleasantly surprised.

Funnily enough, I was actually trying to figure this out today.

I created a very basic Extension, to modify the new tab page (as it's something you can't set in G Suite the way we'd like it).

I wanted to deploy it our G Suite users, and saw there was an option to deploy via a URL. So I packaged it up in Chrome, put the .crx in an public S3 bucket and set it to force install.

Unfortunately it did nothing... is this not possible? Why is it even an option? Eventually ended up paying for a developer account and submitting it for approval (which was actually super fast).

Fair enough, only reason I noticed is because I was actually going to post this link yesterday but did a search to make sure sure I wasn't reposting.

Plus they didn't get much traction anyway, so I wrongly assumed there wasn't interest.

Know for the future now!
