I think the implication was that people stand around places where waymo goes often and just hold doors open for arriving waymo's to be "helpful". When the passenger leaves they just leave the door open for their doordash friends who are nearby
was this a couple decades ago or so? i remember reading a blog about someone who implanted a magnet in the tip of one of their fingers and then put a chip in the skin between the thumb and forefinger.

I see they have a subscription and it requires an app. Does the app require an account and all that jazz or can I just use it without giving away anything?
Isn't this what amazon's Whispernet is for? Always on low power bluetooth listeners embedded in echos and other amazon devices. If the TV supports it and you don't have an echo it can use your neighbor's echo/internet to send telemetry data.
