Currently a sweet spot with Steam games if you price them correctly to the value they bring.

I'm working on a very simple incremental game that has exploded in popularity called, A Game About Feeding A Black Hole.

Was going to reply the same thing.

I buy 1 mg tablets and even that is too much for me. I use a razor blade to cut them into 1/6th pieces.

Takes less than 30 minutes to kick in.

A lot of other comments here about poor sleep I believe are the result of drinking caffeinated products past 1 PM.

I live in Canada and this is not the case at all.

Plenty of the listings I look up online 40-60 mins from a city of 100k have dsl 10 mbit.

I like @syshum have access to 1 gbit fiber in my current home area.

I am excited for Starlink to be able to buy a couple arces of land much further out and still be able to have "reasonable" internet that I'm able to work remotely.

What every software engineer should know about Kafka, it's dead.

If you're not already technically chained into it and Confluence hasn't already upsold your poor organization avoid it.

If you want the early flexibility and the rapid PoC just look at AWS Kinesis/Firehouse.

If you're looking at large scale (+1 gbit ingest, 100k/s, kind of stuff) then Apache Pulsar is where to go.

Would note it financially secures the founders as well.

Even if the company removes the founders they're going to be getting that lease payment forever.
