Would be great if some of the smart people here could help explain why this is such a big deal to my less tech savvy friends. I know that I don’t know how the data broker to dark web hacker pipeline works, I just know security is important. But my family is like “big deal”.

When I went to college in the late 80s my ssn was automatically used as my student id. When I got my first bank account in 1990, they used my ssn as the account number.

I was expecting a discussion about Farrow and Ball.

I was hoping it had something to do with poles and zeros, more analog-y Laplace stuff. Never expected hashes.

Boil a pinch in some water and use that water to make rice. Bam. Bonus points if you use basmati rice.

Wait where did I judge you? At no point did I say you were good or bad, I commented on the decision if it were me and words you used. I'm sorry if I offended you, I just don't know where I judged you.

The tube feeding and pain meds are artificial life support measures in my mind. But then again I’ve never had a child or experienced anything remotely like this so it is easy to be glib and pick on logic. I’m in my sixth decade so I’m petty sure I’d feel the same way you do. I would not want to have a living altar, that term just made my jaw drop after such beautiful articulation.

Really should point out this is for BLE. I thought it was based on heartbeats, heat, ingress/egress, or something more physical.

Also, ESP32 Rx sensitivity is kinda poor: -94 dBm, most devices are pushing -100, -102 and even -104 dBm. Makes a big difference.

He's a lesser evil. The only reasons why he went down were: 1. because he's not a greater evil, he didn't get dirt on people who can bring you down is a great way to never be brought down (Epstein is an anomaly); and 2. he did it publicly, there are about 2500 known billionaires in the world and estimated another 1000 that have assets that cannot be accounted for determine net worth accurately; he should worked on getting into that latter crowd of "shadow billionaries".

I’m really surprised 1Password isn’t recommended.

What triggers this? I use adnauseum on Firefox and I haven’t seen a YouTube blocker warning in weeks. Not sure why it is so intermittent.

Except for Spellbreaker, which had an early path in the game that seemed like an easy solution but would break the game until the very end and you had NO idea what went wrong. (Incorrectly using Girgol to solve the ragweed problem, when you need it for the VERY LAST PUZZLE in the game to freeze shadow you before he jumps into the tesseract). I think Starcross had a path like this too, but I don't recall. And Infidel never allowed you to get the full score because you were ... an infidel. But that irony was lost on 15 year old me.

I hate on it because I personally didn't like it. I found the puzzles trivial, the butchering of canon painful (worse than Zork Zero), and the graphics comically awful. 7th Guest, Myst, and even Gadget were better in the GFX department for 1993.

I think Zork sank into the swamp long ago.

"Want some rye, 'course ya do..."

I mean, come on, let's not clutch our pearls after that abomination.

Is this New Physics like the New Math?

Make 10 from 8 + 5... or ... reduce Maxwell's equations into U(1)?
