This will be revolutionary if it is deployable at scale. One thing I have learnt over the years is to avoid apartments which have any windows towards the road.

They should quarantine regardless, since asymptomatic people are also spreaders. Ill people sre anyways getting quarantined even without any tracing.

We are highly lucky to be in a time where it is very easy to switch among high paying jobs across various companies. If you are able to get by with 10% of your mental capacity, I am sure you would be able to land up a lot of jobs. I would recommend you apply to many places, and take it from there, depending on the interviewing experience.

I don't think you really need to learn anything special for job interviews. There is no necessity to understand special technologies, as most good companies are fine as long as you have any experience with similar things.

I would also recommend you read books on programmers. I recently read "Masters of Doom", and it might open your eyes into goal driven programmers and their impact on the world.

Also, out of curiosity, which companies do you think have a higher hiring bar than Google?

IntelliJ Ultimate has a lot of extra features, yes, but I don't recall any of them being related to Kotlin, or Android, so I don't think the parent comment claiming kotlin usage will result in extra revenue is relevant.

Any place which has internal tooling tightly coupled to Eclipse, and isn't willing to or has not gotten to develop the same for IntelliJ.

I don't think Jetbrains gets any money directly by the usage of Kotlin on Android, as Kotlin too is open source, and works very well in IntelliJ Community (also open-source). In fact, I don't think IntelliJ ultimate has any extra Kotlin features.

I think android studio uses the community (open source) version of IntelliJ Idea, so it should not be a big part of Jetbrains revenue.

Jetbrains products are awesome though. I used to use a heavily customized vim which was a pretty good setup, but the things a jetbrains ide can do are just much better than what my custom setup could do. I pay for a personal subscription and couldn't be happier. I will recommend everyone to atleast give their products a try. They have a free trial period.
