To be clear, we're primarily considering candidates who will be working from one of our office locations once onsite work is able to resume. That said, we've always been a distributed company, across multiple time zones, and we put an emphasis on clear written communication when we are able to (Notion, Slack, Github, etc) and make use of video conferencing when synchronous communication is required. We have been conducting work and interviews remotely for some time now (primarily over google hangouts).

Thinking about mitigation here... It appears that some of the included scripts have crossorigin="anonymous" script tags. Wouldn't this prevent authenticated access to to the circleCI domain, aka preventing the creation of api tokens or access to the API using the logged in browser context for any script loaded off the circleci domain?

Also, not that they do so, but would Access-Control-Allow-Origin set to something other than * prevent 3rd party requests to the API for scripts loaded from 3rd party domains.

Also curious if anyone has written a JS library that patches XMLHttpRequest.prototype to audit exfiltration of data in the DOM.

As someone who works on both python and go day to day, I find this to be quite interesting.

Just tried this out on a reasonably complex project to see what it outputs. Looks like it only handles individual files and not any python imports in those files. So for now you have to manually convert each file in the project and put them into the correct location within the build/src/grumpy/lib directory to get your dependencies imported. Unless I missed something somewhere.. The documentation is a bit sparse.

Overall I think the project has a lot of potential and I'm hoping it continues to be actively developed to smooth out some of the rough edges.

Actually there are two guarantees for GET:

1) It is a "safe" method.

2) It is an idempotent method.

A safe method (GET/HEAD) should not modify server state.

"In particular, the convention has been established that the GET and HEAD methods SHOULD NOT have the significance of taking an action other than retrieval. "

Whereas PUT & DELETE are also idempotent but not "safe".
