One especially hard thing for sentencing public policy is when every crime is compared to every other crime.

It is impossible, I think, to come up with a "ranking" of crimes that everyone can agree on. And because that's impossible, anyone can always point to a sentence of someone else who received too little or too much in comparison.

I understand the desire to scale sentences by impact. But, I personally think it would be reasonable to give SBF the same exact sentence even if he had defrauded people out of twice as much or half as much money.

If someone steals $100 from me, and then a friend feels bad for me and gives me $100, that isn't justice.

I think the historical use of justice has nothing to do with the victim being made whole - and not sure that word usage is a useful concept here.

It does fix that because I dont have to look at it while I wait the 2 seconds. On a touch screen my finger will be slipping as the car is moving and have to constantly divert my eyes as I wait for the lag - even if its the same lag as a physical button.

> And if you really want an electric truck, then just get Nikola, that uses Iveco Stralis cab, with the design perfected over half of century

I honestly didnt know they are still shipping. Their numbers are very small (under 50 a quarter) which admittedly makes me feel like the rest of that post has some elements of bias/screed to it. Is it really a logical alternative to buy an EV truck from a bespoke manufacturer known for (criminally proven) fraud?
