Whether or not it is correct/ethical but do not compare your app to Amazon. They are different, big, <add much more>.
My only guess is some one made a clone of your app; and is perhaps 'reporting' your app. And Google's AI is responding to you. (And if you are regular hn user... you know the results, sadly).
Automatic backups do not include any images or videos. They remain just unencrypted.

Non-tech people get pissed when one smiley message is lost. So for all non-hn people automatic backups are a boon. I know this as we run a free repair-cafe - and help people migrate data from old phones.
Perhaps it is SMR drive. Ubuntu or linux is generally poor at sleeping USB. Ubuntu always mounts at /media/username/drivename - I am sure something is wrong with your setup.
