Brazil has much more foreign reserves than most Europeans country. Our interest rate isn't high because of default risk, actually is more the opposite - rip off the country.
I was going to say this. It could even becomes a startup or consultancy business to support brazillian tech workers to build a fortune the same way the rich ppl do here.
> It's actually really simple. An ability to see the world accurately was never a necessary condition for survival, so long as the model in your head was good enough to assure you could eat and reproduce.
Did you just read this in the latest Scott Adams post? I also agree with the way he is framing these issues. The Guy is a master persuader after all.
Is the second job "official"? Here in Brazil, no office rule can force you to disclosure to your employeers of other gigs (unless you work for government). Here, you sell 8 hours of your day and what you do in the free time is up to you (neither a NDA can change this).
An AI that calculates how to fix social problems would suggest SV billionaries to give up their money and power. We are a long away off from this, and not technologically.
With exclusive roads, witihn 5 to 10 years. Without, 50 or maybe never. Imo we are nowhere near cars driven by buggy code. And there are no signs that of the opposite, only wishful thinking.
Top down narrative. Reddit CEO didn't troll the trolls, it was a huge mistake that can put in check the entire company. TechCrunch could write 99 better stories about this issue than this piece of propaganda.
It also reminds me Hillary campaign (and their MSM friends) calling half of US voters deplorable.
"Trolling the trolls" is a very stupid euphemism. The mainstream media is losing all credibility built in the past decades and seems to not be able to figure out how to halt the proccess (while changing nothing about the "values" [and people] they protect).
