Hallucinations galore. It is supposed to personalize responses since it has access to my main gmail account. It thought I was a woman and working in healthcare. Pretty wildly off.

One would think the company is doing something state-of-the-art moonshot worthy. But, no.

“ Rilla, a New York-based tech business which sells AI-based systems that allow employers to monitor sales representatives when they are out and about, interacting with clients.”

Which idiots are giving away their lives for this.

What is the industry opinion on ngrok? They seem to be in a market where their product is considered a commodity and there are many alternatives.

Honestly, if companies cared enough about the interviewees time as well, people wouldn’t do this. I was looking for a few months, and companies put you through the wringer of 6-9 interviews these days. Two should tell you whether a candidate is a good fit or not. Then there’s the case interviews where candidates put in dozens of hours prepping decks and what not, and then get rejected without any feedback at all.

And this was exclusively at SMBs and startups. At least, the FAANG companies have structure and you know what to expect.

LG microwave that cost $2300 and died just out of warranty. I swear it’s as if the companies program them to die just out of warranty. Now, we probably have to spend another $500 to get it fixed. The LG service charges $150 just to come home and diagnose an issue.

Then there’s the entire Amazon Echo ecosystem. Amazon’s Eero routers - cost $600 or something from what I remember, but they add on a stupid subscription on top for that for features that should be free and are free on other routers.

The roborock is pretty good. Although, it’s a Chinese company, so there’s that.

For me it was more about the cables than the smart features.
