This isn’t OP fault but it boggles my mind that people still use google products. How many times do companies like google and Facebook need to show that they don’t have your best interest at heart before you stop using their products? People won’t even buy genetically modified food but yet they have no problem shelling out thousands of dollars to authoritarian, surveillance centric parasites.
He’s a quasi libertarian that doesn’t trust the government with his tax money. What was expected? Further, if you know that’s what he think and it’s within the law, what are we doing here with this expose? It would be one thing if he was critical of other people for working within the law to avoid taxes and you caught him being a hypocrite but this is not that. If we are going to be critical here, it should be of whatever loop holes allow this.
So you all want to turn them back into taxi drivers? Do you remember how crappy and expensive taxi service was? Ride sharing is not a career. It’s sharing a ride to make extra cash. Yes, we are runnning out of actual careers, I get that. But turning gigs into careers is not the answer. UBI + gig work+ universal healthcare is the answer you were looking for.
