This is a really bad take honestly. This guy sits next to the president. I have no doubt in my mind he will get another government contract and the government will be using Grok.
Which Apple does not permit. It's literally Apple's way, plus a 30% cut for doing nothing, or you're not even allowed to play. And that's exactly what antitrust laws were intended to prevent.
I wouldn't say Apple or Google do nothing. Their Argument is we provide the infrastructure and developer tools so we're going to take a slice off all your sells to keep this stuff up and running. Even the Amazon App Store takes a 30% cut.
No, you're not over-reacting. I refuse to give access to my contacts to any app; however, that doesn't stop my friend, mom, or a cousin from giving access and Facebook/Google building a profile on you. The other issue here is Apple and Google have not updated these permissions to only get access to certain contacts you choose, its either all or nothing.
If you have grievousness with your work environment, as a good employee you should make yourself heard. How you deliver that grievousness to your boss or upper management is on you. If you end up getting fired or let go for doing it in the right manner, maybe it's for the best anyways.
If you feed cows corn all day every day, yes they need B12 injections. I buy beef from a local butcher and the beef comes from our local farm of pasture-raised cows. It's more expensive but because of this it limits my beef intake to a few times a month.
