Regarding offline activation, maybe certificates from your own CA could work or something similar?
I have found a few more issues meanwhile - e.g. folders inside Applications are not visible in the app menu. It would also be great to be able to access & empty the Bin from e.g. the applications menu as doing that without the dock is really inconvenient.
It would be great if you could provide a way to send you these reports outside of HN, where I know that you will see them. :)

Hi there! I really like this project and just bought a copy for myself.
It would be great to allow offline activation - as others have pointed out, using the application after the activation servers may go away is something that is useful for an application like this.
Also, the application viewer seems a bit clunky - please allow sorting pinned items via drag & drop, or always sort them alphabetically. A mouse over highlight effect is also missing.
Obsidian has a community plugin called "Remotely Save" that lets you sync your vault via Webdav, S3 (compatible), Dropbox, or OneDrive. It works on all my devices and synchronises my data just fine. You could also use something like Syncthing or any other third party solution that syncs your Yaml directories.
You can also launch an admin container and type `sudo sheltie` in it to get a root shell on the bottlerocket host OS if you need to debug things.
We've been using Bottlerocket together with its update operator on K8s for about a year now and we are really happy with it as it solves patch management by swapping out an immutable host OS image instead.
