Trains don't need to be optimal, they just need to be viable. The fun makes them optimal. I think the quality, speed, and belt improvements did enough to return them to this balance (but I have not played, so I can't say myself).

Take a look at `2313 NW Military Hwy # 100, San Antonio, TX 78231`

This is an intersection I myself felt daunting my first few years driving. It is within Waymo's San Antonio coverage, and they seem to be handling that just fine.

However, they had to pause them recently related to a lost car, due to, drum roll please... flooding.

I have a Synology NAS I can push docker images to. The key is to set up the docker image so it does a git pull on start, that way I just push to Github and restart it.

This was _incredibly_ hard to set up, in a way I did not expect, even with frontier models. It took me 3-4 evenings.

If someone can solve "Heroku for home server" it would open up a world of what HackerNews calls "home cooked" software.

Well yeah, I agree, collective action would be actually collective. I'm not gonna try to prescribe something like taxes or infrastructure changes, but stuff like that.

You're just describing individual action, which like you said, isn't gonna do anything.

There are people who recognize there is a problem and would support collective action to fix it, and there are those that don't. As long as you are in the first group, there's nothing else you can individually do to make a difference.

I think you are fairly unique in your inability to listen to audiobooks. I talk with a lot of friends about books and have been in very long-running book clubs. Almost nothing differentiates book readers and book listeners. Mostly book readers don't know how to pronounce some character names.

I appreciate San Antonio being included, but you may want to shift your exact target a bit to be more accurate. Probably over to Fort Sam Houston, but I'm no expert. Right now it looks like they just really hate the Deco District.

Dropout originally only used Vimeo for video distribution. They switched to Vimeo for OTT only after running their own with a team of developers and finding it to be an unexpectedly hard task. I think I learned that in the Sam Reich Hank Green Decoder interview.

tl;dr eli5: Instead of capturing spots of color as they would appear to a camera, they capture spots of color and where they exist in the world. By combining multiple cameras doing this, you can make a 3D works from footage that you can then zoom a virtual camera round.

I don't think people didn't "pick up" on it, I just don't think anyone thinks it matters. There is no smoke-and-mirrors back-room strategizing here. It looked cool on Fox News. Then the president went onto Fox News and talked about how cool it looked on Fox News. The text is text. The subtext is nonexistent.
