I love that Apple hasn’t been able to fix their Bluetooth bugs in forever. I always hope they’ll be fixed with the next OS version, maybe the next MacBook, maybe the next iPhone.

Nope. My AirPods have regular issues and my Magic Mouse regularly disconnects.

I hoped my next M1 would solve it. Guess not.

Hijacking this question with a related one:

How long could a website realistically stay up for?

How long before the certificate will need to be updated? How about the underlying software? Communication protocol? IP? Each of these have their own probable expiration dates.

Is the URL "https://www.google.com" going to be accessible in 100 years without changing address?

The user has been "programmer_dude" for 6 years just on HN, there's no chance that they didn't learn about the dot.

I'm confused as to how they can be confused.

Even in my comma-as-separator country, our calculators have a dot. The only thing that could be confusing is encountering numbers with 3 decimals: 123,456 vs 123.456

Can we really? For torrent to work you still need someone to host it in full at all times. Who will host a 40GB file that will be out of date in a week? The website provider will, so we’re back to square one.
