> December’s above-average layoff numbers often stem from companies trying to adjust costs and reboot in the new year with a new balance sheet.

Not surprising. And basically the answer they give for the headline.

"I love how people are talking about how ChageGPT is gonna replace Google while Google just quietly uses a more advanced dialogue system behind the scenews. ChatGPT is a big step in the right direction but they're still a few years behind Google."

That's a really interesting assertion. If they are really that far ahead, then where is it and why aren't we as consumers working with it now?

And yes, ChatGPT has it's problems, but I find myself using it daily in replace of Google many times because it actually gives me the answer I'm after as opposed to a bunch of hits that are really just ads.

Ugh. Why was this posted here?

> All of which brings us back to the human in the machine age. As long as collaboration technology is underpinned by collaboration management in the next phase of work, the teams that come together can get their work done. Whether in-person, in-cyberspace or in between.

This is obvious.

Plus it's an ad for their book. Such a poorly written article with so much fluff. Can we let this die off and move off the front page?

Hopefully you look back later in your career and cringe at our PM's response for not understanding or knowing the value of metrics.
