They don't let engineers design and implement UX/UI's but instead have them create properly designed UX/UI by UX/UI people who know what they're doing? It does make sense, I have no idea where does the notion of engineers doing UX/UI came from, would we want UX/UI people to actually code the software delivering their designs? ;)

That's only because the cheques are allowed in the first place. Rest of the civilised world can make online transfer that will reach the recipient the minute you pressed the form button, granted no unusual infrastructure issues.

Except that when you don't have the disk space on your SSD to download the stuff from iCloud, the whole thing doesn't work. I think you've a conspiracy theory here.

Don't. I've made the mistake of building a hackintosh out of 'Golden Build' list of seemingly issue-less components and it's a world of hurt. Every now and then something doesn't work (BT, Wi-Fi, GPU, random OS freezes) and there's no real way to fix it, the usual advice is to replace component and/or reinstall the OS. I've wasted so much time on it, that if I'd know it in advance, I wouldn't do it. You've been warned.
