I am not worried. Unlike many people, I worked low paying jobs from cleaning rat poop with bleach to making high salary as wall st engineers.

If I got laid off, other people will have it way worse. I am strong, smart, capable and not ashamed to do even dirty work. Not worried a bit.

Life happens. And no being fired is not life and death scenario. If you want healthcare you need to find other work. If you can’t find other work then move to other places. If you can’t move to other places then you need to question what made you got into this hole of dependence to your employer from the first place.

If you are skillfull and bring value to your employer why would the fire you and why would other employer won’t want you?

Layoffs are great. They weed out the unproductive ones.

Layoffs are great. They weed out the unproductive, the weak, the ones that don’t deserve such salary.

The good employees will find employment regardless. The bad ones won’t.

Nothing to see here. In fact, the world could use way way way more layoffs now.

Is there a bootcamp but for electronic/electrical engineering related things? Thinking of sending my cousin to study EE but doesn’t want to waste time doing college degree.

We already have a business and would like to expand a bit more on electronic side of things like IoT/hardware stuffs.
