In very few cases these days. The majority of monies given out is for childcare, it is very difficult to have court ordered alimony for terms longer than 10 years even if the spouse was a stay-at-home parent for more than 10 years.

What about women you're seeing playing with other men? Because that screams one penis policy to me and I'd def avoid someone who said that to me like the plague

claps This is very, very true.

Engineers like to put on a front of "I am an logical being therefore I don't feel emotion like the lesser emotional beings". But they show all sorts of emotions like anger, frustrations, superiority, anxiety, etc.

Our peers just don't have very developed emotional intelligence, and don't view their emotions for what they are.

It's a big blind spot, and I think it is further blinded by the lack of emphasis on emotional intelligence that boys experience in growing up. There's also this odd societal view that you cannot be both emotional and intelligent/logical.

It's very frustrating to buy pants, dresses, jackets/blazers, and skirts without pockets. I've made it a priority to get pockets on all of my pocket-needing outfits, but sometimes it's just not possible.

It's fully possible to have aesthetically pleasing clothing with pockets, but very few companies are doing it. MM Lafleur is rather more than I want to pay, but I am willing to do so for their pocket-inclusive suits and dresses.

This is what I struggle with.

The activation, or executive function, is often missing with folks who have ADHD. Things that I have found which help:

1. Set a timer/alarm for you to get up and start. 2. Set a timer/alarm for you to stop and zone out or take a break. 3. Try to keep a list of actions you can take instead of the one you can't start

And be gentle with yourself when you enter the mental state of "I need to get up to do X now" but your brain simply won't let you. It happens and is frustrating, but don't let that feel like a failure. ADHD brains just can be very difficult sometimes. When this "stuck" feeling happens, I try to cycle through other things I could do until I eventually find on that allows my brain to let me get up. It can be as simple as deciding that I should go pet my dog.

I would say that from my experience (as a woman, who has spoken with other women as the only women on male dominated teams) we don't assume that interruptions are caused by malice. Some interruptions are what I would class "normal" where anyone could be interrupted by a situation/person and some interruptions are what I would class "not actively malicious, but really rude" where people assume that the speaker is not saying what the interrupter would want the speaker to say. Multiple interruptions in a discussion by an individual can show a lack of observance of normal conversational patterns, or a lack of care. It's a fun mix of many reasons, some of which are inadvertently malicious.

I have mixed feelings on synthetic data. We don't honestly know what synthetic data is missing when we use it to flush out or replace more privileged or classified datasets.
