i use 4.6 and i've configured advisor to be on 4.7, so, when something's more complex the advisor can help. at least that's how i do with claude code, not sure of the others have implemented the concept of advisors.
that is a guarantee for less sales, not sure it makes business sense.
for example, i don't buy generic products, i want specific properties from them. and sometimes i don't know what i want, i look at the isle and only then decide. and let's not forget about impulse shopping.
honestly, i wouldn't shop at this store, i want to get the items myself, without any interaction. interactions add delays.
what about the poor people? the ones that can't really afford insurance. i've heard multiple times that epipen prices are crazy expensive and that's a really basic drug.
They surely can and this has been done.
On one the flights that I took with Turkish Airlines they had a few video streams from different sides of the airplane. One was from the top of the tail and you could see the entire plane.
Now... not sure how much that is helpful in this kind of emergency, they really didn't have time to do much.
it's more like short term gain vs long term gain.
experienced engineers can design an architecture that will allow you to scale cheaper and faster in the future, at the high initial cost. it will be cheaper to maintain, better for security.
depends at what point your business is at the moment of hiring and what you plan to do with the product. do you need volume or quality (both variants are right)?
Infomaniak did request my personal id or passport for creating a company account.
I'm not going to provide any extra source for you, this is what happened to me, you can either believe it or not.
oh, that’s nice. tell me what country was the only one who invoked article 5 of the nato treaty? and which countries helped them? and now the the situation has reversed what does that country do?
i'm building a low volume product. if you add the cost unfortunately you will see it's impossible to do something of good quality and low volume with much lower price.
you don't only add the sum of the electronic parts, but materials, r&d, payment for the one who does the assembly, marketing, taxes & accounting, shipping package, refunds and defects, payment for someone to produce it or the usage of your existing equipment, etc. if you add all of these, you will see that it's not cheap.
depending of what you mean by friction with containers, there may be different solutins. for example, as a temporary solution on Docker when you don't want/have time to support both arm and x86, you can do something like this:
FROM --platform=linux/x86_64 ubuntu:23.04
i haven't found any issues with it that i could not get over in the past 2+ years of m1. most of the containers are available on both architectures anyway. the performance improvement was totally worth it, i won't even talk about the heating issue with intel.
yes, because that option will be exploited. most of the people are not tech savy, if some app tells them to change a config, they will do it without any afterthought. i don't have to support the ipad i gave to my father, which is not the case with his android phone, that has a lot of crap/adware/malware installed.
why do you guys deny so much that this happens? i am happy that andoid exists, but i just want the ios experience to continue to exist, we all have a choice.
> “I'm amazed many of them are still on Slack and making PRs.”
I was talking with a friend yesterday about his teammates from Ukraine (we’re both outside Ukraine). They said that working is the only thing keeping them sane. This allows them to stop focusing every second at the war outside their homes.
reding the entire thread here, i think you guys have a real issue with customer protection laws.
here, we have an EU law that says that anything bought online can be returned in 14 days no questions asked. also, the warranty is for 2 years minimum.
yeah, i know it’s a socialist law, but you can bet anything on the fact that corporations will get out of their way to increase their profit. maybe caring for people should be more important.
i remember all the news websites switched to simple plain html pages for a while, as their sites couldn’t handle the traffic. i still have a memory of a picture that i couldn’t find again: there was a never ending line of ambulances waiting, one behind another.
Another difference is the CPU, which is really bad on 645 (and all the others). If you play music from it it dries up the battery pretty fast. It goes nowhere near 2 weeks, as you say, for me at least. I’m keeping all the features active, though (bluetooth, gps, glonass, garmin pod, heart rate monitor).
Feature wise I honestly think that Garmin makes better sport watches, while Apple does better smart watches.
