The likes of Dubai/UAE/Israel won't even care about any laws passed by the west anyway, so the action will move there. Just look at the sanctions against Russia in London, the London traders simply moved to Dubai (source: Bloomberg).

Those who are anti-Brexit are loving it as they are blaming EVERYTHING caused by Ukraine war and gas prices inflation on Brexit. They are just as much the liars as the Brexitiers they accuse of being so. Some of them will in fact will be reading this and being in glee and loving how much Putin's invasion has helped them.

I dislike eBay search, for example all of a sudden one of my daily bookmarked searches went from the usual 10 results to THOUSANDS, all of them not including my search term, this is the link: https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_nkw=Tasmota&LH_PrefLoc=1&...

Why are some sellers having all their listings (car parts) included in my search for "Tasmota"?

> The EU is a major power - the world's largest economy, IIRC

Incorrect. When UK left the EU economy became smaller than USA. Despite EU having 100+ million bigger population than USA!

All charges eventually dropped, a £20,000 fine and promise not to do it again: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_O%27Dwyer

Seems he now runs a software biz.

> I don't actually how much it costs to run a DHT node, or even who's paying for them today

By default all BitTorrent clients are acting as DHT nodes (if they can receive inbound UDP packets). You can disable it in the options, but most don't (unless for private trackers on per-torrent basis). I don't think anyone actually runs a DHT node like Tor exit nodes (except researchers and search engines like BTDigg).

A few weeks ago I tested a number of family phones using the online tools available and symmetric NAT was detected, some were very large UK mobile networks (Vodafone IIRC). That made me give up too.
