No we won't or no it won't. Pretty much to all of this.

This is not optimism, it's delusional.

This is just not true. Especially for frontend development. But I've compared them very recently one to one and Opus wins every time.

Some people have been saying that 5.5 is on par with Fable and it's just nonsense.

I have had the same experiences you've had with 4.6 and it was ever since they brought out 4.7. It's fairly obvious they're doing something like you've said here.

A stable environment with a great culture has lower costs.

But then they have to hire good managers and for that you need to be a good manager yourself.

This article started to unpack a problem but then decided to keep it a shallow critique with very little substance.

You wrote a hundred books in a year?

How? How long are these books? How much research did you do per book?

I don't know how someone writes a hundred books in a lifetime, let alone a year!

There's some truth to the fact that workers on H-1B visas are not going to rock the boat. A modern form of indentured servitude.

Thank you! I've never understood why this needs to be an external dependency with network requests.

Funnily enough, though, I think it makes dumb people dumber.

When you overpay CEOs, people who hate leading, and hate being CEOs, will become CEOs for the money.

Is a good idea to select the people who hate leading to become CEOs?

My son is really into soccer, so I wanted to get the latest ~~Fifa~~ FC game. Oh it has anticheat and doesn't run, at all. Frustrating because I wouldn't want to play online anyway.

Happy to not give EA any money if they're so set on shoving online play and therefore anticheat down the players throats.

Grateful that Steam allows easy refunds.

I want my LLM powered Firewall that checks with an agent on every connection request! AI powered security is the new hotness!

I wonder how truckers are going to like having to get up and walk over to the door to talk to gate security or hand over paperwork.

Feels like a dumb design to me.

It's all coming from Meta: https://www.yahoo.com/news/articles/reddit-user-uncovers-beh...

That's not going to work if the service is down, however.

Plus, they've dumbed down their models to the point where the value just isn't there like it was. If I have to go in and clean up after it, or constantly wrestle with it through prompts, what's the point? Just spending $200 a month to be frustrated at a machine.

My experience with Zed differed. On Linux I found it to be very memory hungry.
