> The king profits from the field

For the solution, read Henry George!

Yeah I've noticed this when role-playing with some LLMs

The regular table saw is still in the new workshop, and the new workshop adds a SawStop and another regular table saw.

I think Chromium already does sandbox ffmpeg in the renderer process because of their "Rule of Two": https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromium/src/+/HEAD/docs/s...

Thus:

1. Code which processes untrusted input

2. Code written in unsafe languages like C or C++

3. Code that runs without a sandbox

So ffmpeg should be sandboxed, same as the network code and GPU process are sandboxed.

I bought one because I had a feeling that the price of used EVs was about to shoot up

Sounds right. I remember seeing "1M Triangles" in the performance HUD and thinking, that's crazy, a million triangles. Probably very few shared vertices once you account for edge splits, billboards, etc.

> The technology for webrings was owned and managed by webring.org

> A webring offered a free and decentralized experience

Which is it lol? Decentralized or owned and managed by a single domain?

I have to disagree. Using the dev tools in Firefox and Chromium is way easier than fiddling in Notepad and constantly reloading.

That one person already used the other half of the auto-encoder to go from an image of "ugly Sonic" from the Sonic The Hedgehog movie, to a special "{sonic}" token, and then they could put that into prompts.

It is not far off.

> The crux of the argument is basically true. Its an all or nothing proposition.

No, it's not.

Every online account (that doesn't involve money or legal paperwork) can have its own name. Then you can decide whether to have _some_ accounts ultimately link back to your legal name, or all accounts, or none.

> Or you can lead a double life. ... This has been my approach on the internet since basically it started and handles were a common thing.

That's exactly what I'm doing, and neither of us are living in the Brazilian rainforest, so anonymity really is a spectrum.

Agreed. Anonymity is a spectrum. Just like personal finance, most people haven't even begun to assess what state they're in.

You should not accept the state you're in without knowing what state that is. Most people should have more anonymity than they're giving themselves.

I think they do keep it engaged, at least while coasting.

I know you said braking but I've seen it in both my 2002 and 2015 automatics when coasting.

If I'm coasting up to a red light I'm pretty sure I can brake lightly and still be coasting with no fuel consumption, and then it will only turn the fuel back on when it needs to creep.

I'll check it on the live MPG display next time I'm driving.
