I am lazy person and that's actually my internal motivation.
I want to complete things as quickly as possible so that I have plenty of time to procrastinate before I start the next task.
But one thing that is crucial is to do what you love and what you are good at. Then you feel empowered and motivated to complete the task.
Also, as others have noted, sleep seems to be highly important and in that sense, besides a healthy amount of night sleep, I find power naps really helping me to get through the day.
Just like the Redis replacement, AWS's MongoDB replacement of DocumentDB comes us when you search for Mongo, but it is not an actual replacement even though the name indicates "compatibility."
As a rule of thumb, we always try to avoid such proprietary services for potential vendor lock-in, whether AWS or not.
But the difference of Flight Simulator is the realism of the world data. They used Bing Maps data to get an accurate replica of Earth and not just the terrain but the buildings and the major airports as well.
For our case, the need is very specific as we are working with mobile apps.
Building iOS apps require macOS and even though there are some well-known "Mac hosting" services, none of them are actual cloud services similar DigitalOcean, Azure, AWS, etc.
So it is much less expensive and actually easier to scale and configure to host the Macs onprem.
(Off the record: If it is for internal use only, you can even stick in a few hackintoshes for high performance.)
Considering the potential performance issues of Electron apps, I am still hopeful that someone can come up with an Electron alternative with the right engine, but I don't know if that engine is Gecko or not.
Does anybody know if there is any improvement in the OTP generation algorithms?
I like to have all of my clocks set 10 minutes ahead and Google Authenticator had always been failing generating correct codes. I mean, it's just 10 minutes. IMHO, The OTP generation algorithm should not be that dependent on time.
On my Windows setup running on Bootcamp, the previous versions of Firefox had trouble accessing the microphone for many of the video call providers while Edge and Chrome are working fine.
