I don't see anything extreme, but the primacy of proteins (and especially meat-based protein) and dairy seem suspicious considering the broader rhetoric coming out.

Depends on how big the NPU is and how much power/memory the inference model needs.

Generally the rule is you buy your own tools and then take them with you if you leave the shop.

Lots of mechanics prefer owning their own tools because the community shop tools will end up beat up and not cared for. Plus, another thing locking you down to the location. On the other hand that's yet another personal expense.

They may already exist, but that doesn't mean we should amplify their voices and give them the ability to recruit more to their cause and ideology.

Now, that's not to say disruptions of communication systems (e.g. censorship) is the right answer. But existence doesn't mean we shrug our shoulders and do nothing. At the very least you can stop encouraging and normalizing them.

Asking the "dumb" questions is actually often a good thing.

For one, you learn faster. Secondly, there's a chance someone else was thinking the same question and was too afraid of looking "dumb" to ask it. Just make sure you don't occupy all of their time with questions, especially in a public forum, thereby wasting other peoples' time.

The quote was actually talking more towards speaking up in an attempt to impress the expert with the little bit of knowledge you have in the subject. It's patronizing and they often see right through your front. It is much more effective to let the expert do their thing and for you to learn than trying to impress them with your little bit of subject matter knowledge.
