Maybe before we rush to adopt machine learning in financial services we should consider the consequences of blithely giving this technology such a central position in our lives.
Yeah politics is an extremely broad topic. What’s common sense to one person is a insane governmental overreach to another. While I don’t think politics should hold a large place in the work place I’m always mindful when speech is restricted in pursuit of restricting “toxicity.”

Yeah, I strongly believe that all books carry significant value. You don’t need high level concepts to gain value. We sometimes over focus on the best case scenrerio ignoring what we can get kids interested in.
No doubt, A small team can sometimes accomplish amazing things when they don’t have oversight. It’s too bad that the quality will probably stay stagnate.
You’re not wrong but the entire point here is efficiency. I have no doubt that allocated with the right teams we could inovate more with 500 million dollars. Or .5% of this project’s cost.
While it is targeted at bezos I think the name is more of a joke if anything. After all even in the document that you linked it lists several other countries.
With that said I don’t think Bezos’ move is based on Bernie. In the current political climate there is no way a bill like that would ever pass. I would guess this is based off of public pressure but I’m not 100% sure what this move if for.
I don’t know if I would call it “fake news,” but it is certainly derived from the 24 hour news cycle. When a new story is constantly needs recycling a old one is cheaper than finding a new one. This is’nt fake just a rehashing with a different attitude.
