But we agree.

I am saying people made thousands, most likely millions paintings like that. Only very small fraction survived.

But there is no need for some extra ordinary explanation like "artists were high-status shamans".

Caves evolve, perhaps there was a landslide that covered old entrance, and that is the only reason why paintings survived. I do not believe paintings would survive in open easily accessible cave. Just the urine from bats...

As for spirituality, people 30k years ago very quite sophisticated. They had paintings, music, maps, religion, porn... But entire population of Europe was like 100k people. And there was no need to crawl into one way death trap, when they had 1000km^2 to explore!

Survivor bias. In Europe, art painted on external walls or cliffs, would not survive elements for 30k years. Caves have extremely stable microclima (humidity, temperature, UV light exposure). In modern times paintings are endangered by breath and heat emissions from visitors!!

I can not believe "educated" people would not come with this solution, and instead have to invent this spiritual stuff.

No, I illustrated that for some people "being more in tune with our natural roots" is deeply stressful. And it is simply not realistic advice!

I get attacked weekly, and can not even carry peper spray, or tell anything to my attackers (they would turn on me). Last time I got attacked by 6 large dogs while walking on beach, and their owners would not even restraint the. After, they tried to steal my phone for recording the attack. Latter they told police, dogs were "stray" and they are not responsible for them. Despite providing shelter, food, vet and walking them on leash...

If I mugged people, trying to steal their food, I would be in jail!

Some "true" mythical countryside has even more dogs in large packs. It is outright dangerous to cycle here!

1 megawatt connection is not question of some paperwork and permits, but massive underlying infrastructure. And that infrastructure is simply not there.

If EVs use diesel generators and coal, they are not zero emmisions. In fact ICEs produce less CO2 emmisions, if you count energy losses from charging, battery production etc...

It is another Enron waiting to happen!

Police found killer just after stabbing, so I assume they could do complete bloodwork including gas chromatography.

Here you got some study: https://www.thelancet.com/article/S2215-0366(19)30048-3/full...

> Daily cannabis use was associated with increased odds of psychotic disorder compared with never users (adjusted odds ratio [OR] 3·2, 95% CI 2·2–4·1), increasing to nearly five-times increased odds for daily use of high-potency types of cannabis (4·8, 2·5–6·3).

Diesel generators ;)

> insanely high energy requirements

That is just for small personal cars, not even SUV or trucks. And requires a few megawatts... Very good argument to cancel this whole insanity.

> coal and oil extraction

EV charging stations are still using oil and coal. Some are even build with diesel generators, as a "backup" (like at night).

No source talks about PCB or other drugs in this case. Psychiatrist in this case testified "'100% certain' cannabis-induced psychosis".

And psychoactive effects of canabbis are well documented in other cases.

In some people it induces paranoia, psychosis and hallucinations, and turns them into violent berserkers.

My original post with link to court case was flagged.

I hope your wife recovers well.

But my argument is about broad statistics, single case does not prove anything.

There is a easy way to measure happiness. Record level of women are on antidepressants. And there is significant correlation with education level.

And please do not argue "she is happy with her choice" and on antidepressant at the same time!
