I'm curious how they're detecting that the OS is rooted. I suppose there would be a number of ways, but certainly they're not just requesting superuser -- that would be silly and fully apparent to the user. Ideas?
Areva is a company that sells nuclear reactors. It's important to realize that there are enormous political and financial interests on both sides of the "nuclear debate" in framing the "reality" of what happened and continues to happen. How the accident is presented and which details are highlighted depends very strongly on who is doing the presentation. In this case, let's have a healthy dose of skepticism about certain value statements in the presentation, knowing full well that there are unquantifiable financial implications for the presenter, Areva.
Overweight. Terribly overweight. I tried to pull it up on my Droid 1, a phone that's just over a year old, and it's basically useless. Overclock the arm A8 to 1GHz, and it's still essentially unusable.
hey i tried this out quickly. pretty good. two thoughts:
1) is it me, or does it take two clicks to go from the plugin icon to actually accepting voice input?
2) android's voice search has both visual and audible cues to indicate to the user that it's actually picking up your speech, finished, and is now thinking about it. that'd be excellent.
