Lots and lots of LHD trucks serve the UK making daily cross channel trips, or even just based here full time from Dutch / Eastern European shipping firms.

I get the authors are doing it to boost Google rankings. But why do I only see it on cooking blogs, and not on blogs about cycling, DIY, programming, urbanism, whatever else I'm searching....
Not many tech blogs start with a 4 page life history before showing me the code snippet I'm looking for.
True in terms of salary. But that misses the huge time cost of recruitment (time writing job specs, screening, interviewing + 3 months or so of lower productivity) when often retention could be improved with zero / low cost culture changes.
My problem was the mid-level managers ha. As it has been in a previous employer as well actually.
One problem I've noticed is the sort of person who wants to apply for management roles is often the exact sort of person who should never be given that role.
Here in the UK the union leaders manage to look like tits all on their own.
I'd love to have a workable union system for tech workers here, but I just don't see what they offer unless you can persuade meaningful numbers of your coworkers to sign up.
