Center seating is a better option for 99.99% of the time spent in the truck. And the vast majority (nearly all) of toll booths have toll tags. It's baffling that people think the 99.99% of a product's use should be dictated by the 30 seconds of paper handling that occurs a few times a day.

A truck driver who isn't the intended audience for the vehicle and doesn't understand the engineering decisions that went into the product. For every con he lists there's a con to the opposite approach. There isn't clear cut right and wrong here. It's just different use cases.

It's likely being guaranteed because he knows the cost of installing solar and battery banks and he (and his customers) doesn't have to buy directly from local power companies.

There is a single "eco" light on the dash that is based only on revs - if you engine brake downhill and are using nearly zero gas it still goes off. I've considered pulling the bulb for it

I really like my 2015 Yaris. Modern air bags and traction control/ABS, but windows/locks/AC controls/seat adjustments/everything big is all mechanical. Changing where the air blows with the dial is mechanically opening and closing valves using wires attached to the dial. There are of of course toggle buttons for defroster/air recirc but I love not having to worry too much about computer crap breaking. I had to replace my alternator and managed to do it in an AutoZone parking lot in a couple hours (and only got attacked once by someone with substance abuse problems - this was in Seattle). Great car.

$10 wifi enabled light bulb makes it easy to schedule when it turns on to help with this :)

Pulling punches while still getting your point across is valuable. Being abrasive detracts from the message and leads to flaming due to tone rather than content.

HN is really, really negative. Like overwhelmingly negative. I am sure there is "curiosity" in some amount but it's the minority. I keep coming back to it for reasons I don't know.
