I was surprised at how good the... cadence? emphasis? was in kwiki's synthesised speech. Compared to the traditional badly emphasized speech you'd hear in, e.g., one of those computer generated 'I want an iPhone 4' videos. I have no idea if that's just because I've not been paying attention though.
For me, 3D in Tron was either very subtle, or when noticeable was a little jarring. Not sure it was worth the hassle of wearing glasses over the tops of my glasses, to be honest. By contrast, the 3D in Avatar was noticeable and well executed.

Trying to prevent Iran getting the bomb will indeed 'piss them off'. However, as they are already an extremely 'pissed off' theocracy, it is still a sensible thing to do.
Looking at things from the perspective of crazed theocrats is undoubtedly useful, but you shouldn't make the mistake of going the extra step and empathising to such an extent that you start believing that their position should be respected.
This second point seems to be a problem with a lot of people - by all means "put yourself in their shoes, man!" but after doing so, don't end up 'role playing' as them when deciding what is the right thing to do.
It's the vanity one that resonates most with me - have you seen what you look like when you flip your phone round and take a picture of yourself? I'm no oil painting at the best of times, but that wide angle lens does no favours. This problem may not affect the iPhone because, as I have seen from the ads, people that use facetime are a photogenic bunch.
Mobile platforms are an extremely active battleground right now, though.
