the LineageOS teams refuses to incorporate patches to support MicroG as a replacement for Google Services so anyone (including me) that wants to follow that path is required to use unofficial builds.
Ruby is always a pleasure to use. Another very good language for parsing binary is Erlang/Elixir where you can pattern match against the raw bytes specifying sizes, endianess, etc and its all too well integrated in the language.
Normal people doesnt do that, thats just you and a couple others in this thread. Normal people just listens to music and enjoys it without a second thought
I tried Gemini 3.1 pro once to implement a previously designed 7-phase plan.
it only implemented a quarter of the plan before stopping, the code didnt even compile because half of the scaffolding was missing. it then confidently said everything was done.
Codex and GLM didnt have any issue following the exact same plan and getting a working app. So I would argue Gemini is the failure here.
this is great, specially the evaluation loop. the worst part of using AI to make games is testing things work as intended after every modification specially if its a complex game.
how is discords freemium successful when they are trying to put Nitro in your face at every step? trying so hard to me that sounds like not enough people pay
when coming back to a community after a long period of time i have to follow a trail of links to rooms that say they have been upgraded and the current one abandoned until i reach the current one. thats stupid, confusing and time wasting
I just tried it. designed a very detailed and reaaonable plan, made some amedments to it and wrote it down to a markdown file.
i told it to implement it and it started implementing the original plan instead of the revised one, that was weird.
GOG's business relies on Windows going above and beyond to remain retrocompatible with older versions of itself so trashing on it feels like a shitty move
