I think it's the romantic depiction in Anime and other mediums that show it as only it's beauty and none of the flaws of regualr cities. For example, almost every show about New York City is about it's depiction of how much of a "city" it is, with the noise/how dirty it is/the amount of people, something that every city, including Paris has.

Interesting points, but the up sides of dlang are over shadowed by the fact that rust won the hearts of many low level developers and has gotten traction. I know of a few companies that are having difficult finding skilled developers because of this.

Welllll doordash is brining back "wedash" [0] which means all empolyees need to complete at least one food delivery a month if that's what you mean.

In my opinion, as someone who worked a short time in perl, perl is so much harder to learn, especially comming from other programing languages (which most data scientists learn if they started from a degree in computer science/engineering)

One of the main issues I have with perl is the `there is more than one way to do it` slogan, which, for me, means that each person what writes perl, writes practically a different language. This make the bar of starting a new project much higher, even if you have use perl before.
