devinhalladay·12 tahun yang lalu·discussI prefer Moom (http://manytricks.com/moom/) to Spectacle because it's much more configurable so it can adapt to my needs.
devinhalladay·12 tahun yang lalu·discussYou should be fine for sure. Some software you need to be using (in my opinion, at least):- iTerm 2 (use ZSH for your shell and oh-my-zsh to extend it);- Sublime (although it looks like abandonware because it hasn't been updated since December of last year);- Dash for reading documentation;- Hub (https://github.com/github/hub) to make Git better;- Homesick (https://github.com/technicalpickles/homesick) for keeping your dotfiles backed up properlySome other things you may want to look into for setting up your dev env:- Boxen (https://boxen.github.com/_- Laptop by Thoughbot (https://github.com/thoughtbot/laptop)- Homebrew (this one's kind of obvious)

devinhalladay·13 tahun yang lalu·discussI do agree that Macaw could be great for prototyping, but I'm adamant that it will be the death of quality code and websites if designers begin to misuse it.
devinhalladay·13 tahun yang lalu·discussExactly! That's an excellent example of how these kinds of tools are depriving designers of learning new techniques.
