A lot of people are pointing out that this article is satirical in nature. English is not my first language. Even though I don't have any issues in reading English books, I was not able to see the "satirical" aspects. Up until now, I've generally been able to distinguish between satire / sarcasm / irony etc.
If anyone can shed some light on how to "see" the satirical aspects, I'd be really grateful. :)
Hindi is my native language. CodeWithHarry, in fact, is actually subliminally asking the users to create very low quality PRs. Or at least very heavily implying it.
In one part of the video he mentions that last year DO was not able to distribute all the t-shirts as they didn't have enough PRs. He goes on to mention that "this year, we don't want any T-shirts to remain".
If I get time, I'll point out more lines from the video where he is promoting PR for the sake of PR.
I do agree that it may not be totally his fault in the whole larger context of things.
I have a question on this.
I am employed in a startup since the last 3 years. I already have 100k shares vested (5 year window, 3 years passed). I can buy them at a low strike price (<$100 for all shares). However, I think that when I buy the options, I'll have to pay the tax on the amount?
What happens if I don't pay the tax but just buy the options? Will I lose my options because I haven't paid the tax?
If anyone can shed some light on how to "see" the satirical aspects, I'd be really grateful. :)
