on the blind DIY topic, I've done 5 roller blind upgrades with a zigbee motorized blind [1] and a gateway from aliexpress. configured to go up and down at sunrise and sunset which is cool as we have many plants.
This was after getting a super expensive quote from a local company to do the same with a built-in version.
Not as fancy but functional and works after changing the chains (original stretched and broke - wasn't designed for the motor)
