I wholeheartedly agree with everything said in this blog post. The real downside to using k8s for a personal blog or hobby project is that it's so damn expensive. I did try rolling my own k8s using k3s and some Raspberry Pis, but that quickly became annoying to maintain and to get up and running in the first place.
Agreed. This post seems like it's more about getting rid of proprietary software and replace it with free and open-source software,which admittedly is a lot harder.
This is my experience in Sweden as well. The only people I've heard complaining about the move away from cash are older generations (65+) — everyone else loves it. The e-krona initiative could solve the problem of allowing a cashless system while still giving control to the Riksbank [1].
I definitely prefer zsh. I just feel like Fish tries too hard and it's just awkward to switch between fish and bash when frequently switching between different machines.
