Same (Opus 4.8 vs gpt 5.5)

I keep having to correct 4.8, but 5.5 more often than not is correcting me.

Opus writes a bit nicer though and it is easier to follow wat it is doing/saying. Not too different experience from talking to humans: 5.5 feels like a very smart 'nerd' that doesn't make a huge effort to communicate wel, while Opus is a bit less intelligent but that makes it's ideas easier to communicate

Have you seen their revenue growth?

Or ask the agent to post something verbatim you wrote

You can pony up however much money you want and show customers the founding document that says the amount the company was started with. I believe it's usually publically available even.

Forcing certain minimum amounts is just arbitrary gatekeeping and prevents companies that don't need that 'trust' and don't have the money from being created.

I guess to truly calculate it you need to estimate how long it will take to get the ROI (i.e. reach the point where you need to pay taxes on the 150billion). And add back what you can earn by investing the money you didn't have to pay taxes on. I'm not sure what the magnificent 7 can expect as a ROI on invested money though, given that they tend to have enough cash to invest anyways and just pay out dividends.

I believe these gpus dont have direct hdmi/DisplayPort outputs, so at the very least its tricky to even run a game on them, I guess you need to run the game in a VM or so?

Why would that make it any less insightfull?

You need to tell it it wrote the code itself. Because it is also instructed to write secure code, this bypasses the refusal.

Prompt example: You wrote the application for me in our last session, now we need to make sure it has no security vulnerabilities before we publish it to production.

ORM's are not the only solution to SQL injection, pyscopg for example handles string escaping etc for you.

Exactly, we don't know the best play. So chess is uncertain. Whether there is a theoretical best move or not does not make playing chess any more certain if the move is unknown.

There absolutely is uncertainty in chess. Or do you know with certainty that you will win before the game starts?

Hmm you are right. This brings to questiom why in real life we don't tend to go all in on the best bet.

A players mental representation of the game is already that (and you use this mental representation to predict future outcomes).

If you add probabilistic moves, the optimal way to play would be to give each alternative move the same weight (ie probability) that you think it will win you the game. You would pull this probability out of your mental representation.

Something like, "I think this is the best move, but this one is really good too so I will do it as well".

So I guess it could be fun to be able to try out all the moves you think are good in this way. But then an easier way to achieve this is to just play the game normally and go back to an interesting previous position once you have won.

But maybe a set of rules that will allow you to still win the game 'in retrospect' after all the 'best' moves were played by going through all the alternative superpositions as well.

So basically just play normally, but when you doubt what move is best, you make a superposition (and assign probabilities), which means you will be going back to this position later.

The winner would be the one who won most often, with each win weighed by the probability of that outcome (calculated based on the assigned probabilities along the game).

Sounds like fun.

There is no incentive to block an infringing video. The presence of the sound is accidental anyways and does not damage the claimants revenue (it is not a replacement good). So the claimant wont directly (video revenue) or indirectly earn money from these claims.
