I'm a caffeine/coffee consumer because I like its effects, and the claims to overall physiological benefits appear solid, but why do you think multiple and varied spiritual schools choose to forgo it, especially in coffee form?

It feels quite trippy and delirious and somewhat physically pleasurable and if you have enough you teleport into another dimension

Can you please define groundbreaking?

Interesting and promising seeming strategy to counter not only issues of 'peer pressure to own a device' but 'culture pressure' wherein assumedly for many schools most of the topics of humor and interest are quite online.

A couple of issue to highlight though - Internet memes and content can be reach crazy levels of salient and funny though, and in appropriate amounts, seems life enriching and sometimes contributory to consciousness and self-awareness no?

Additionally, a purely suppressive approach creates a fairly big incentive for kids/guardians to exploit the informational asymmetry of the system using clandestine/contraband access.

For this I propose community provided memes. As chosen by Birdwatch style-voting.

Seems like one of the benefits you get with a state is to regulate powerful technologies. Is this not commonly agreed upon?

See the dactyl tool linked as a sibling comment: https://ryanis.cool/dactyl by https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=35769435

Yes that’s correct. Probably a better way of articulating what I meant to say is that unlike adding more battery mass which gives you diminishing returns as that additional weight must be carried too, improvements in energy density give you gains closer to 1:1. Though in retrospect this isn’t a very interesting or insightful statement, hah.

Cool! What didn’t occur to me until I learnt it was that you get a multiplicative benefit with energy density when weight is a major factor (air transport, especially) because you need to spend less energy accelerating mass used by the battery itself.

Do hands release from the line they're on at the point of the next time increment being reached (meaning, by the time they hit the next line, they'll be late) or does it kindly release earlier, affording time for the hand to travel to and arrive at the next line in time for it to represent the current time?

This implies there is something about """you""" that is inherently lacking rather than the habits currently in your brain and "more discipline" often means """if only I would castigate myself more"""

There's a body chemistry component here. Are you possibly mouth breathing while you sleep?

This comment is so confidently ignorant of rhythm and melody, lol

Pay attention to the counterpoint (one voice rising, one voice falling) when one big triangle ends and the one above/below it starts.

Music is harmony, melody, rhythm, and dynamics. Dynamics means variations in softness/loudness, but none applied here, and someone else has noted the rhythmic component.

Maybe so, but the author says ‘The updated ChatGPT answers to the Political Spectrum Quiz are exquisitely neutral, consistently striving to provide a steel man argument for both sides of an issue‘ which suggests more than just a positional change. This seems good? Using the robots to explore opportunities and options but ultimately let us decide what world we want to live in, right?

I agree with you principally, and generally, but in rather small domains like this I would imagine symptom management using negative examples (i.e. training pairs where the response is a refusal to answer) and adding more explicit statements about what is not true, possible, or known to the corpus would get you to a pretty good place.

Would love to hear from domain experts here. Reading the article one finds that they only created very small cathodes rather than anything close to a 'consumer sized' battery.

This sounds great, but isn't this -

> hopefully keep them at bay as much as possible

...wishful thinking, or symptom management, rather than cutting at the root of the issue (less than rational thinking)? Would be happy to be corrected here.

More accurately -

Callbacks are anonymous functions [or references to named functions] that you pass to asynchronous [or synchronous] functions so you can work with the produced values [or do anything else]
