Very clear position: they want absolute control over both companies and citizens

Also C++ engineer, but from my perspective, for large tasks, agentic coding is still lacking no matter how well I describe desired output. So in that cases I fall back to manual coding and cursor tab helps a lot with boring parts

Apple should add "promotional notifications" section to iOS, then ban everyone who don't put their marketing bs into that category

I think better approach for "ghost keys" would be requiring X amount of crypto to be sent to 0x0 (burning). Current implementation (requiring donation to freenet) basically gives freenet foundation infinite reputation (including any other potential project that would accept ghost keys as identity), kinda breaking the decentralization aspect

just nuke notepad in favor of zen-mode vscode. It has everything you want from text editor and it does it quite well

> It feels like someone changed the keyboard to optimize for some typing behavior that doesn't match my own

I want the keyboard to work the following way -- after I press the button: 1. Letter that I pressed (not a random one) appears 2. Instantly

iOS keyboard somehow fails both. I have no idea what "typing behavior" can you optimize for to end up like this

Any real recent examples of this, specifically in Abu Dhabi or Dubai?

In cursor, GPT models already have +Fast options that work faster with 2x price

> makes a thermos great at keeping your drink hot

Thermos has 2 parts responsible for thermal isolation: vacuum and some coating that reflects heat radiation

Also in earth conditions, most of thermal radiation goes to surrounding air, heating it. This is not the case with vacuum, so thermal radiation will be even more efficient

I think it's much simpler: smart mass surveillance. With LLMs you can finally read and analyze all messages people send to each other

What a coincidence: "protect the children" narrative got amplified right about when implementing profiling became needed for openai profits. Pure magic
