Fair, Germany

Only over 35C

But it's not even a well isolated house.

I mean... I need ~120 watt an hour to keep the house between 20-23 C.

I am from modern Europe, and that was my way of saying my nightly piss, happy to learn better wording

I told Claude to do it yesterday evening, checked in during my nightly break.

I am not sure it's perfect, and it will need further validation

This morning I looked at code samples & checked if all unit/integration and e2e pass & perfomance tests pass

I also generated a postgres schema diagram.

Aka I did probably 2 hours of work, rest was not me

The opus try was last month

I gave it a complete database migration of our app, opus failed hard each time... Untyped Json b for some rows, no proper normalisation, falling back asking me questions in between.

Fable just did it, clean code, one timeout with a hanging bash script, fixed a couple very old very structural bugs in the codebase

To expensive, 2x of a factor between countrys side by side is massive.

Esp. As the 300€ are more of an go to your nearest diy store and buy one, there are better deals out there.

Here is one for 239 effectively, including hanging hardware & everything you need.

I am just surprised about the cost?

Kits in Germany are 300€ without a battery.

Nah man, it has been career limiting before and I have gotten bad feedback for it my whole life...

I keep the LLM close to the original text content wise, but feedback was/is fantastic

I mean, i struggle with spelling/wording and ask the LLM to proofread a lot.

I often send out the LLM version, but still check if it contains the original thoughts correctly.

It's not a bad way to extend your vocabulary & catch spelling mistakes

As someone with oncall yesterday it was a fun experience, but you noticed quickly that everything .de was down and then it was just a waiting game.

We had a short discussion about migrating to .com, but decided risk != reward as no one would know the new tld

I assume there are a couple people working for denic who had a stressfull night..

Do you have a writeup what problems you ran into?
pinkgolem

At least in Germany in B2B contracts that might be possible.

For b2c, no chance

I think the example is still valid, orgs will not change if the still get what they want from you

Tbh, my one server paperless deployment has a higher uptime then most services.

If your scaling need is not that high, you can get very far with a single server

In single threaded workloads, still impressive

Nah locally is fine, if you have a good 6ghz coverage, but that means a hotspot in every second room
